Colour: Red Griottes in its youth, it now tends towards shades of leather.
Nose: Leather, truffle and macerated fruit (prune).
Palate: Long, chewy and rounded at the end of the mouth feel by its maturity.
Recommendations: Rib of beef, duck breast, game, powerful cheeses such as Soumaintrain.

Origin: Plot located in the town of NUITS SAINT GEORGES.
Vinification: Traditional: Manual harvesting, sorting and destemming harvest. Cold pre-fermentation maceration of 5 to 7 days at 8°C. Then fermentation at 30°C max. Total vatting has a duration of about 25-28 days. Then breeding 18 months in barrels of which 50% new barrels.
Soil: Alluvial from the Meuzin Valley.
