Colour: Bright ruby colour.
Nose: A charming wine with a nose of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) and spices such as pepper.
Palate: Harmonious palate with round tannins on a long and pleasant finish. An elegant wine representative of the appellation.
Recommendations: It goes well with tasty meats (lamb, duck breast, game...) and spicy recipes. Ideal with strong flavoured cheeses (Epoisses, Munster, Maroilles...).

Geographical situation: Located in the north of the Côte de Nuits, the village of Fixin (pronounced "Fissin") is situated between Dijon and Gevrey-Chambertin.
Vinification: Hand-picked. Vinification in thermo-regulated vats. Cold pre-fermentation maceration for 5 days, long vatting period during which punching down and pumping over are carried out in an optimal way.
Aged in oak barrels for 12 months, 30% of which are new.
Soil: Brown limestone with marly nuances in some places.
