Colour: Bright ruby red in colour, which turns darker over time.

Nose: The nose is mature, with notes of red berries, jam and spices.

Palate: The palate is precise, very fruity with delicate tannins which support a pleasant finish. All together the wine has character, it is expressive and flattering.

Recommendations: Tasty meat such as roast lamb, prime rib eye steak, duck breast or game. Spicy recipes. Cheeses with strong flavours such Livarot, Munster, Maroilles, Epoisses, Langres, Ami du Chambertin, Soumaintrain...



Origin: Considered as the "Golden Gate of the Côte de Nuits", the appellation Marsannay covers the villages of Chenôve, Marsannay-la-Côte and Couchey.

Vinification: Harvest by hand. Traditional vinification in thermoregulated stainless steel. Pre-fermentation – temperature controlled cold maceration during 5 days. Long fermentation during which pigeages and pumping over are performed. Aged in oak barrels for 13 months. 30% new oak and 70% oak barrels used between 1 and 5 times. The oak is mainly sourced from the Vosges region.
