enjoyable Burgundy wine.

Recommendations: Excellent with grilled meats, and delicate white meat (rabbit or poultry), meat in sauce (coq au vin, lamb stew or beef stroganoff), terrines and cured meats . Soft cheeses (Camembert, Brie...) and Goat cheese.



Origin: Produced in the 4 subdivisions "départements" of Burgundy (Côte-d’Or, Saône-et-Loire , Yonne et Rhône), this recent appellation (2011) proposes a fresh and fruity red wine.

Vinification: Traditional vinification in thermo-regulated tanks. Prefermentation - cold maceration, control of temperatures and a relatively short fermentation to produce fruity and delicious wines. The wines are aged on fine lees for 9 months in stainless steel vats.

Soil: An infinite variety of soils from the chalky base around Joigny to the granites of southern Burgundy, passing by the calcium-rich and marly soils that are the habitual home for this appellation.
